| Pre Carnival Events
We start Carnival week with Monday Funday. In a purpose built arena on the beach there will be a full day of family fun and games sponsored by Sharkys Indoor Soft Play Centre. Use your physical and mental strength by taking part in Donkey Derby (with a difference), Beach Spot Quiz, Frizby Frenzie or the Rubber Ring Run.
In the evening there is a Fancy Dress Fun Run,sponsored by Wessex FM.(who we hope will be taking part!!) starting at 7pm from the Pavilion and we want as many children as possible to - Run Round and Round the Gardens with our Carnival Bear! They could take home a certificate to show friends, neighbours and teachers.
The RAF Town Show will arrive and set up in the Pavilion Car Park, The Fun Fair will be open on the Esplanade by the Town Clock, and we are hoping to finish the day with music and entertainment on the sand.
Tuesday is Sports Day on the Beach supported by Weymouth Football Club (The Terras) The day kicks off, (literally) with a 5-a-side tournament, a beat the goalie competition and a chance to grab some autographs from players and "Ivan" the club mascot.
Come on lads and lassies join in... make your dads and mums proud!!!
